• Worker's passport (valid — minimum 6 months remaining)
• Worker's existing Emirates ID

Renewal Process Step by Step

1. Renew medical insurance — required before GDRFA will process the visa. Renew via your insurance provider.
2. Medical fitness test — book at an approved medical centre (e.g. AMER, DHA centres). Results typically in 3–5 days.
3. Submit renewal application — via GDRFA (Dubai) or ICA (Abu Dhabi/federal), online or through a typing centre / PRO service.
4. Pay government fees — approximately AED 500–700 for visa stamping plus any fines if already expired.
