Data We Collect
We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email address) and information you enter about the household staff you employ: names, nationalities, phone numbers, schedules and household tasks, leave dates, document expiry dates and salary records. We also collect usage data to improve the service.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to provide ManzilZen — planning and displaying your household schedule, sending staff plans and alerts by WhatsApp and email, sending a few onboarding tips in your first week (which you can turn off in Settings), generating payslips and reports, and displaying your dashboard. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Infrastructure & Data Storage
ManzilZen uses Supabase (Asia-Pacific region, Tokyo) for database and authentication services. Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Supabase is SOC 2 Type II certified. We use Cloudflare for hosting and content delivery. We also rely on these service providers, which process data only to deliver the features you use: Stripe (payments), Twilio (WhatsApp messages to you and, when you send plans, to your staff), Resend (email alerts), Groq (AI planning and the AI assistant — the requests you write or record and the names of the staff involved), and Google Analytics (anonymised usage statistics). Some of these providers process data outside the UAE, including in Japan and the United States.
UAE Data Protection Compliance
We operate in compliance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection (PDPL). Your data is processed lawfully, stored securely, and you retain full rights over your personal information.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can edit your records in the app, delete your account and all associated data from Settings (this also cancels any active subscription), and Pro users can export salary records as CSV. To request a full copy of your data, email hello@manzilzen.com.
Cookies
ManzilZen uses essential cookies required for authentication and session management. Google Analytics, with IP anonymisation, is loaded only if you accept analytics cookies in the banner. We do not use advertising cookies. You can change your choice by clearing this site's data in your browser.
